Another Plane Ride

So I’m on another plane, listening to my ipod and thinking…man, I think a lot! Lol! I’m going to call this blog “A Random Tale” cause I’m about to type everything that goes through my head in the next 10 minutes. Ready? Welcome to the crazy mind of Manwell:
I love Southwest Airlines; they feed me and give me apple juice. Anyone who gives me apple juice is automatically my favorite person. I’ve eaten like 3 granola bars in the past half hour; don’t know if that’s good for my little tummy. I love my new kswiss shoes!! My friend Cole worked the Grammy’s and got me a whole bunch of free stuff! Thanks Cole!!
Why do we crave affection so much? I mean, I know we were created that way, but why do we crave it like air? Why do I love the Olympics so much!! The greatest thing that a man or woman can accomplish is to love someone and be loved in return. There’s nothing more satisfying than holding hands with the person that fits you. Its like you’re both legos and your hands connect beautifully all in the name of pure love.
I had a really sobering prayer time on Wednesday. The Lord told me that I wasn’t living to my full potential…and I said how so Big J…and he said, “I see your heart and the desires you have for yourself…marriage, success, true love…but there’s one problem…if you don’t learn to love and honor yourself, you can’t expect to be able to love and honor someone else. All love is conceived in Me and obedience happens to be the path to finding it. But then actual love is birthed inside of you through the understanding of how I see you. You’re precious to me, so when you give yourself away so easily to someone, you devalue the worth that I have placed on you making it impossible to love at your full potential! I hear your prayers and the man you want to be…so I urge you, let go of the little things that keep you down and oppressed. I love you so much and I want you to just BE. No more talking or wishing that you were something you’re not…just start being that person. I’ve given you everything you need to make it happen, including all the power that’s within me.” So I said, “wow Jesus, you’re really into me…I love you for it.”

A beautiful piano is kryptonite for me. Violins take me somewhere I love to go…music is the rhythm to my life; it keeps me in time and in love with love! My best friend’s getting married on Sunday! I’m so proud of him! No more heartbreaks and lonely nights, what an amazing creation this thing called love. My boy Nick is crazy talented and one day will make the most amazing movie ever!!!! I can’t wait to see it! My boy Josh is such a good musician and writer. I just finished praying to his song and man God is with him, I hope he knows it…I should tell him lol! I miss my friend Jewels…she’s so competitive, I can’t wait to beat her in every sport imaginable!!! My friend Lipsy spoke life to my spirit and I doubt she even knows it, but ladies just know that honoring yourself and keeping your heart with Jesus is such an admirable thing that’s worthy of praise! We should all learn what it means to be patient and to not awaken love at the wrong time. Thank you for grace Jesus.

My thoughts are sporadic, my mind never rests, my heart is always overflowing…thank you for taking time to share life with me. Mad love.

oh my goodness. i just love the way you put everything, the way you said it, the words you used. it was all very touching. the whole truth thing, i agree very much so. and in a way i'm commenting on all the things you put on your journal all in this one comment. first let me say this, i just started listening to your group's music. i'm into it. the things you put in here were so deep and it sort of answered the prayers i've prayed about for a good while now. unfortunately i'm not that good with my words like you are. but i do feel like things are rushed or pressured upon us (everyone) like we have to get everything done by the time we're 25 and so on. i'm only 17, just experiencing this new world and graduation is just around the world. ahh just kinda wanna fast forward through all this. and the thing you said to Big J, well i know that my problem is more so that i don't know how to show and give love to others without over doing it..

i am trying to come to the concert when you guys come over to NC :]
and my kids (i didn't birth them..ha) at church are working on a music video to one of your songs. they're starting to really like your group!! i'd really like to talk to you guys some time like in person and know some more things. although i've learned more than i could've asked for :]

Wow, that was so well written, and so true. You really do have many gifts. 1 of course your vocals. 2 the way you love J man (Jesus). 3 sweet spirit. 4 compatible. 5 full of life. 6 minstering to people wheather you realize it or not. 7 deffinetly know how to grab a girls heart lol.

Thank you for sharing all that your mind had to say, it actually really reached-out to me.. I wasnt planning on reading this, but it became easy to grasp onto. So I just kept reading, and im glad I did =)

Manwell, so i'm sitting here reading the paragraph about your sobering prayer, nodding my head...and i'm like, "Yo, Manwell is on point!" (not that I ever doubted you). But forreals, you really shined light on what love is suppose to look like. I look at all the desires of your heart and sure enough, it looks just like the desires of my heart. Like every girl, I want that one true love, a house with a white picket fence, and a doggie named Rover (hah), but the one thing that was missing is that I was trying to find love without going through Jesus first. I know that I have to love and honor God above all, because His love is far greater than any love that any ordinary man can provide me. These are all things I know, but sometimes it takes someone else saying it out loud to really hit home, ya know. It's like...I'm not the only one who thinks like this. You truly are an inspiration. God has blessed you with the ability to reach out to so many people, even ones you never thought were listening. I respect that you always come correct, putting it all aside to let people know who Manwell really is, flaws & all. I heard this one quote..."I'm not looking for Ms./Mr. Right right now, I'm working on trying to be Ms./Mr. Right for myself [& God]." Only through God can we fully realize our potential to be what God has always intended us to be. Thank you for your heart. God Bless you for being a blessing to me.

Geeez!!! I love your way of thinking! That is so true, we must learn to love and respect ourselves first, before we can go about trying to love someone else. I love the words you used, and the way you illustrated everything its amazing and true, may God open doors for you to find that special person in your life. I am at work feeling bad I missed ya concert yesterday @ Bethel University so I decide to check out your website and came across this blog. LOL u sure do have random thoughts; kinda made me wonder if I wrote my thought down would people laugh o scream.
I can definitely identify with what u saying, desire?Love?God's Will regarding this? r some questions that I ask God. How complex can this be? just the other day as am driving and talking with God He enabled me to feel what it is to totally be Loved by Him. I mean it wasn't anything that I have felt before; amazing how when we keep pursuing Him with stuff how He amazingly responds in ways we don't expect. However I was able to understand that the way I wanna be loved no man can love me that way even my Mr.right(when he comes around). and as I read your blog am thinking Funny God how you keep revealing your word and what you desire of me.and today I have learned I need to love and honor me first before I can give it to anyone.mmmhhhhhh
Okay i better get back to work before I start writing my thoughts too and scare some people LOL
