Tis the Day

So here I am on another plane ride listening to my 4th solo cd that will never break the light of day because of my current contract…but that doesn’t sadden me in any way. I’m super grateful that I have a way to express myself when I’m feeling crazy emotional! It really is a blessing to be able to put words together in a way that makes people see life differently. I no longer rap for the sake of being cool or popular, but I do what I do to see how many people will bare witness to what the spirit is doing within me. I know I’m not the only person going through tough times emotionally or mentally, trying to figure out life, love and all of the above.
But I also know I’m not the only one seeking God cause I know He’s the only sanity in my world. He’s the only thing keeping me grounded and feeling alive! This ministry that He’s given me that allows me to see the world and meet so many people brings me to life!!! All of you who read my blogs, you literally are my air! My life has been poured out for the sake of your advancement. Even though I’m not worthy, I count it a privilege to speak into your life in any facet. Thank you so much for supporting God within me.

Thank you for your words and you are worthy of the Blessings our father has bestowed upon you and don't you think otherwise. A great book to read if you haven't is the Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson. A small book just ike the prayer of Jabez, a small prayer but that prayer led to many wonderful breakthroughs. God is awesome.

You probably dont remember me but we met when G1C came to Tacoma! I took a picture with you and told you that you smelled good HAha. But i just wanted to say that I loved your words to us during the concert. You, Blanca, and Pablo said some beautiful things up there. I listened to your testimony on this website and it was pretty hard to believe someone like that doing the things that you did. But then again, God is God. Hey Manwell,

Just want to encourage you brother... Don't think that work you are doing "just for the Lord" will never break the light of day.. Even if not here, in this life, remember that your life's work for Eternity began at the moment Christ came into your life... Heaven for us began then.. We just haven't been transplanted to the Lord's "final garden" yet.. (see Samuel Rutherford's The Loveliness of Christ). I also invite you to take a look at Randy Alcorn's book "Heaven" pp 396 to 426.. Also, listen to Greg X. Volz's song "Back Burner" if you can... The Lord used that song mightly in my life back in '90 when my life was going through significant changes.. I had a heart full of unfulfilled dreams, and the temptation to run on ahead of the Lord was very strong.. I had to bury most of those dreams in the ground.. Thinking they would never "see the light of day" either.. But dreams are like seeds.. And God is faithful.. He kept every one of them. Some of them are just beginning to sprout, nineteen years later.. The rest, well, in God's good time.. The Lord focuses on the man, and what's inside that man, but He wastes nothing that man does or has done for Him..

I am sure you hear this a lot, but I wanted to take minute to let you know how much I appreciate you ministry and music. My life has been a rollercoaster over the past five years, and I was super excited when I heard you all about a year ago. Now when I need a little encouragement in my day I listen to your guys' music. (even the 16 month old twin bous I take care of seem to enjoy it) Anyways, I just wanted to take a minute and let you know how much I appreciate what you do!

I think you put that better then anyone. i know how it feels to be just a girl who thinks the world moves on too fast. It leaves you in a whirlwind, you know? then, when you take a step back, you realize how fine you are without it all. Its just God. With out him, its nothing.

Hey Manwell...although you may not be able to drop your 4th solo, know that you have many supporters out here that without a doubt would cop it if it was released. You give a voice to those who cannot express themselves vocally. This of course if evident by the head noddin', song singin', and fist pumpin' at all your shows. God gives us many avenues to express ourselves productively and according to His will. In God's timing, He will make a way, if it is His way. I love what you do for the name sake of our God.

However in the future, if you are able to drop the 4th, i will definately be FIRST in the e-line or merch line tryna get my hands on it.
