When you give up on God

You guys ever had those weeks where, for one reason or another, you just check out? I mean your mind and body just check out from reality and you have no idea why. I’ve had one of those weeks recently and you want to know what it did to me? It left me thinking, without God, I honestly have no direction or purpose in life. Its like I was a little boy standing in the middle of a four way stop out in some ghost town and every direction I turned to seemed like a dead end. I didn’t have the wisdom to continue nor the understanding of life to make things happen for myself. As scary and sad as this sounds, it’s an absolute joy to my ears! I woke up this morning and realized that I’m in need!!! I need Jesus!!! I have nothing to offer except all of me, so I hope that’s enough.

What beauty is it that this Savior of ours sees it fit to give us a chance to bring glory to His name. How awesome is His grace that though we fall more times than we run, He continues to believe in us more deeply today than he did when we first were saved. We may not always feel like Christians, trust me I feel it too, but by all the truth that exist in this world, we are sons and daughters of a King that doesn’t look at our short comings but praises our successes. You make me smile Jesus, I love you for loving me.
