i'm not sure how this works but let's give it a try.
recently i've gotten into a couple of arguments with people i care about very much because of disagreements on being a follower of Christ.
at the same time, a young 14 year old boy just reminded me of what i used to think when i was 14 or younger. he asked me to pray with him over the phone. it made me go crazy in a sense because i couldn't believe that he's willing to pray, and about the most random things. it was so childish. the words he used the way he said it all. and there's a word for that in Amharic (Ethiopian language). mesazen. of course there's an accent in the word. but it was soooo cute and it just brought me back to when i used to pray when i was little and i had no "real" problems.
i still pray like that. but only when i'm alone. hearing him pray for EVERYONE, not forgetting a single person in his life, was the greatest thing to me last night. it makes me so happy when a person gets closer to God or isn't ashamed to show it off. its the next best thing to love. can't wait till the best thing comes around :]

I agree with Rachel! Prayer is the best thing you cna ever do. And you don't even have to pray for someone beacuse they are ill. You can pray for your family, friends, and anyone just out of love. I used to not pray in fornt of anyone but my parents and sibilngs. But I went to a camp in 2009 and I prayed in fornt of people I didnt know and that made me feel good. Just pray for these people you got in arguments with. God will change them but you have to have faith and be hopeful!

lol. To be honest, I also pray like that sometimes. Only I don't say everyone, I call them by their names.
I agree with you. It makes me happy as well! That's what I mainly pray for when I pray for my friends. A closer relationship to God.

i hope there wasn't confusion.. ha because i meant that my friend prayed for at least 3 minutes naming a whole bunch of names and their problems or needs they need met. i like calling them by name. its more personal that way :]
