Night 1 Winter Jam

So I’m here on our bus the night before Winter Jam with all the musicians just chatting about dreams and how amazing it is that we’re about to play in front of 10,000 + people when none of us ever conceived this day in our minds. There’s something inside everyone one of us that has a dream that seems so unrealistic because of its scale, that we want to shy away from it and never even push ourselves to go for it. I look at the people on this bus, each one of them insanely talented, and think if they never took that first step towards chasing their dream they wouldn’t be here! They’re music is blessing people all over the world and its incredible to me that it all started with a small thought in some room where nobody could see. It was the little boy in me who thought that someday I could make the world smile, or the little girl in Dara who said my voice will warm someone’s heart someday. It’s the kid in all of us that say unashamed; we can be whatever we want! I encourage every one of you to not grow up, but to grow young, and reclaim the dream that life and reality stole from you.
