You guys ever had those weeks where, for one reason or another, you just check out? I mean your mind and body just check out from reality and you have no idea why. I’ve had one of those weeks recently and you want to know what it did to me? It left me thinking, without God, I honestly have no direction or purpose in life. Its like I was a little boy standing in the middle of a four way stop out in some ghost town and every direction I turned to seemed like a dead end. I didn’t have the wisdom to continue nor the understanding of life to make things happen for myself.

It's a new year, a new season, a fresh start! Pretty exciting, don't you think? So, I was hanging out in my hometown and just thought to myself about some things I could do differently this year... how can I become a better person? What can I do for God? What are some dreams and visions I have set for 2009?! I think these are some really good questions to ask yourself. I feel like sometimes we set goals for ourselves and when we don't see them met right away, we get really discouraged. I'm speaking from experience, 'cause I have felt this way one too many times.

So, Christmas is now behind us and we have a whole new year ahead of us! How exciting:) I will say this, I love Christmastime, but it sure can wear a person out! Having to shop for all those gifts and going to the stores with like 20,000 other people there running around is pretty crazy. Oh, and let's not forget all the friends and family that come into town who usually end up staying at your house!! It's a beautiful time of year but it's tiring!

So if you don’t know by now we as Group 1 Crew have taken up the assignment to stir up dreams in the lives of who ever we come across. I personally discover more and more every day what my dreams mean to me, and the importance of why God has injected my very being with these desires and goals that I want to so passionately achieve.

SO I WAS TALKING TO BLANCA YESTERDAY AND SHE TOLD ME A STORY THAT MADE ME PONDER THIS CERTAIN TOPIC OF “WHY ARE YOU IN MY LIFE?”. YOU EVER GET THOSE TIMES IN LIFE WHERE A CERTAIN PERSON SHOWS UP AND YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHY THEY’RE THERE? I MEAN IT COULD BE A GOOD PRESENCE OR A BAD PRESENCE, BUT NONETHELESS A NEW ENTITY HAS BEEN PLACED IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHY!

10 Reasons Why I’m Single:

1. I’m too skinny
2. I love fashion more than most girls
3. My blackberry period.
4. I travel way too much
5. I’m either scared of commitment, or forgot what it feels like to be in love
6. Blanca is a blocker, people always think we’re together!
7. I always sing in the car when I’m out on a date, even if I can’t sing that good
8. I’m broke
9. Can’t get a girl to think that me being on the phone and answering emails for 2 hrs every morning and
sometimes during a date is a really cute thing

Well here I am homies…back on a plane and contemplating, as usual, the things that make me go hmmm. I’m heading back to LA and I find myself lost in thought about my recent trip back home to Orlando and this trip to my new home. I think about the thousands of people who’ve made this same expedition to the City of Angels in search of their dreams of becoming the next Brando or Tom Hanks, or even the next top model, and I almost feel a connection with them. Its weird, but I think about the first time Brad Pitt flew into LAX, or Russell Crowe.

Hey what’s up Group 1 Land!

Fall time is here! Yay! What better way to celebrate fall than having a girls' weekend, going to a haunted house (with no boys, yeah, pretty scary) and carving pumpkins! A few of my girlfriends and I did just that. After Revolve in St. Louis, me, Natalie Grant, two of my closest friends and the coolest Hawaiian I know, Tiffany, decided it would be pretty amazing to scare ourselves half to death at a haunted house. Let's just start off by saying the name of place was "The Darkness" and it was located in an abandoned warehouse in downtown!

So I was sitting on a plane the other day discussing future plans of the romantic persuasion with my little friend Blanca when we happened to sit by a charming young lady we’ll call “the officers wife”. She was a lovely girl, beautiful and on her way to handle some business in Charlotte but not before letting us in on her amazing story of love, determination and victory! It was pretty amazing the things she went through and put up with all for the sake of love…fascinating!

What is up friends in Group 1 Land! I pray this blog finds you well and smiling. Now for some of you reading this you’re probably wondering why I titled this blog “Why Blanca is the Perfect Girl”…well friends I’ll tell you why. I’ve had the privilege of seeing this little lass grow from her new found faith to the woman she is today and let me tell you, its been a fun ride.
