A lot of times we don’t pay attention to the terms that are used to describe what we wear. And even though the words style, trend and fashion seem like they mean the same thing, they actually don’t! So here are some definitions that will be helpful in your fashion vocabulary!
Style: In clothing, style is the characteristic or appearance of an item of clothing‐the combination of features that make it unique and different from other pieces of clothes. Example: The Graphic T‐shirt is a different style then the Blue Tunic.
Fashion: Is a style that is accepted and used by a group at any time. Fashion is based on a particular style, BUT not every style is a fashion. A style becomes a fashion when it gains popular acceptance. Example: Ray Ban sunglasses are a widely accepted fashion.

Honestly, I think that style and fashion are the same. But after reading this article, I am very much enlightened and I believe you are correct in saying that a style will not always be a fashion. Really great post!

Nice! My clothes are kinda different from my friends ,so does that mean I say my 'style' is different from people's 'fashion'?
Wow I never knew this! Nice to know :)
Tomorrow it's my cousin Brittany-Grace's birthday. She wants to be a fashion designer. I bet she's interested in these things! :)
Clothing may protect the environment from the clothing wearer, as with doctors wearing medical scrubs.
